Supervision for counsellors 

I offer counselling supervision to both qualified counsellors and trainees in placement.

I qualified in supervision to level 6 with the lens of anti-oppressive practice. Anti-oppressive practice means I work bring cultural awareness to counselling and supervision and decentralise Eurocentric practices. I support counsellors to be affirmative of the client’s identity in terms of their culture, gender, sexuality and experience of disability.  

My supervision style is to be both professional and approachable. I am informed by my previous experience as a psychiatrist, working with chronic and terminal illness and working with trauma in the context of domestic abuse and sexual violence.

I usually arrange an initial chat for 15-30min, which is free of charge. Then in our first full session I take details of your practice and level of experience and we make a plan together on how you’d like to work.

I have developed my counselling practice as an integration of conventional therapy, Buddhist Psychology, nature based practices, tarot, modern witchcraft and shamanism. If you have an interest in developing this type of integrated spiritual practice into your work with clients, this can also be part of our supervision.

I currently charge £55 per hour or £70 for 1.5 hours. Concessions may be available on discussion.
